CROCKPOT CHEESY SALSA CHICKEN

Welcome again to the home of Healthy Recipes & list of dishes, Today i will guide you how to make “An Easy Homemade Bread Recipe – Just Five Ingredients”. I made this Delicious recipe a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it and enjoyed it with my family. It came out very tasty and flavorful.
Don’t worry it’s easy! This delicious healthy recipe is easy to make and i walks you through the steps and all the ingredients on how to make it!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 (16-oz) jar medium chunky salsa
  • 1 small sweet onion finely diced
  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper
  • 3 Tbsp tomato paste, plus additional as needed to thicken the sauce
  • 2 cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese
  • 4 cups Cooked Spanish Rice or cilantro-lime cauliflower rice

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Spray the bottom and sides of a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Spread the salsa on the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle with ½ of the onion.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in a plastic bag and drizzle with oil. Add the taco seasoning, cumin, garlic salt and lemon pepper. Seal the bag and toss until evenly coated.
