LOW CARB FROZEN ORANGE CREAMSICLE CREAM CHEESE BITES
So one of the big things in the low carb/keto world is “fat bombs.” What are fat bombs you ask? They are food, usually a treat, that has a high amount of fat. Fat helps with being satiated, and when you are in ketosis, your body is burning fat for energy. So fat bombs are a good thing. I can’t stand the term “fat bomb,” despite the fat that I just wrote it four times. So we won’t call these that. We’ll stick with frozen orange creamsicle cream cheese bites, because that’s not a mouthful…(insert eye roll)
So my first attempt with cream cheese bites I made them with liquid stevia. Theywere good, but I just can’t handle the aftertaste of the stevia. It sticks with you, forever. Well maybe not forever, but a bit. It could be just my liquid stevia. It’s the store brand from a health food store. Maybe there’s better stuff. I even googled an article on learning to like stevia. Meh. Tell me what type of stevia you use and if you like it!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup Swerve, powdered
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together using a hand mixer on high. Spoon or pipe approximately one tablespoon bites on to parchment paper or Silpat. Freeze. Serve cold.
