Ingredients

• ½ cup butter, softened
• ½ cup shortening
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon salt

FILLING:

• ½ cup creamy peanut butter
• 3 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 5-6 tablespoons milk

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and shortening until whipped and creamy. Add the peanut butter and sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
