peppermint mocha white russian

Hello the cocktail of my 21st birthday.

Do you remember your 21st? Was it wild and crazy with a vague memory of foo-foo shots like scooby snacks and starbursts? And to only be welcomed by a hangover from he** the next day due to attempting to make it to 21 shots?

I actually pray that wasn’t your experience. Because there is no badge earned for making it that far except a badge of the worst hangover around.

Or was your 21st along the calmer route? Spent with family and friends and a few cocktails?

Luckily, this is how I welcomed my ability to legally drink. Also with a short trip to Vegas the next morning. Not to shabby, eh?

Well if there is one drink that takes me back, it would be white russians. I have had a love for them for as long as I can remember. It is a cocktail that my brother loved and I inherited the love of. It makes sense as it’s sweet, smooth and full of coffee. And it was an acceptable cocktail disguised as a dessert. Because no night is complete without something sweet.
