Do you check weather forecast everyday? Or sometimes even more than once a day?

I’m definitely not one of those people who check weather forecast everyday. Especially because I can easily bare cold if I don’t know how cold it is whereas if I know how cold Cambridge actually is, I might just not go out at all. I love going out and see the trees in our street – it’s so delightful to see how they have changed through the months.

In September they were all green in different shades and then gorgeous fall colors started coming in. I must say, the tree in front of our window had some breathtaking colors, golden yellow and then a gorgeous shade of orange and ruby red. It was amazing to sit down at the table right behind the window and write as my soul was being nourished by the amazing colors nature brought.

Ingredients

  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup crushed chocolate
  • 4 tbsp condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp rosewater
  • Crushed rosebuds for topping

Instructions

  1. Break the cardamom pods, place the seeds in a saucepan. Pour the milk in the saucepan and place over medium heat.
  2. Once the milk is warm, add in chocolate, condensed milk and cocoa powder. Using a whisk, stir until chocolate is melted and cocoa powder is dissolved.
  3. Add in rosewater and take off the hit. Let the hot chocolate sit for a minute then fill the cups. Top with crushed rosebuds.
