HOW TO MAKE ITALIAN SODA (SODA ITALIANIA)

Quench your thirst with a homemade Italian soda! Ahhhh, sooo refreshing, TASTY, and a great way to use the raspberry syrup that I shared last week! Not only is this a fun way to drink more water, but you can also adjust the sweetness to your preference!

I LOVE having that flexibility!

I’ve found that I just can’t drink overly sweet beverages of any type! Even sugary cocktails cause me to make not so pretty faces!

Making your own soda is super easy and the price is right! To purchase an Italian soda you’ll spend at least 4 bucks, which might be ok if it’s just for yourself, but it can really add up if you purchase drinks for the whole family!

I bought a liter of club soda for 89 cents! The syrup was about $5 to make and it goes a long way!

INGREDIENTS

 • 1/2 - 2 ounces of raspberry syrup
 • 6 - 8 ounces club soda or sparkling water
 • For Cremosa
 • above ingredients
 • 1/2 - 2 ounces cream (whipping, heavy)

DIRECTIONS

 1. Fill a tall half way with crushed ice. Add syrup and then carbonated water. Stir and enjoy! For a cremosa top with half and half and then stir!
