Quick and Easy Nutella Mousse - Easy To Make



My niece asked me "Can I use the mousse to ice a cake?" And the i Answered "I wouldn�t recommend using it to ice a cake as is. It needs a stabilizer in it. You could replace the sugar with powdered sugar that will help. Bloom 1 tsp of gelatin in 1 tablespoon of cold water. Microwave it for 15-20 seconds until it runs clear and then add that in. That will provide the most stabilization"

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • ? cup sugar
  • 1 cup Nutella

Instructions:

  1. Pour heavy whipping cream into the bowl of a stand mixer or a large mixing bowl. Pour in sugar. Use a hand mixer, or the whisk attachment on a stand mixer, to whip cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Scoop the nutella into the bowl. Fold it together using a rubber spatula until all of the whipped cream is brown and loses its streaks.
  3. Scoop into serving dishes, or use a piping bag if you are being fancy.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
