HAMBURGER SUPREME CASSEROLE

My family loves this hamburger casserole.  It is quick and easy to make and is comfort food at its best. This recipe is one you will definitely want to save, it’s perfect for a busy night. Casseroles keep well and my family loves anything with hamburger and cheese.

Ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef
• 1/2 cup onion chopped
• 1 10.5 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon thyme
• 1 4 ounce can mushrooms
• 2 cups macaroni uncooked
• 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese grated or shredded

Instructions

1. Brown meat and onion with garlic until tender in skillet on top of stove. Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain and set aside.
