STRAWBERRY WATERMELON SANGRIA

Okay, totally kidding. But, it was the most popular post I’d shared (until this one). I had a giant spike in traffic, my Pinterest went insane, all because of this sangria. And seriously, I wasn’t even planning on sharing it…

I made that sangria for a Christmas party at my sister’s house, and decided to take some photos of it the night I made it because it was actually really yummy. So I thought, “maybe I’ll share this”.  Just like I explained in this post, my best recipes are always unplanned.

And ever since I shared that sangria, I’ve been dying to share another one. Now that the sun is shining, we’re brushing the dust off of our swimsuits, and heating up the barbecue, I figured a refreshing, Summer sangria was the way to go.

It seems as though every time the seasons change, I am so ready for whichever season is upon us. Now that Summer is near, I am so ready for Summer. I’m thinking about beach days, cold watermelon, tan lines and jamming to Rebelution by the pool. Then, when it’s about to be Fall/Winter, all I want is Christmas cookies, leather boots, sweaters, warming soups and Christmas music. It’s like I can’t fathom the thought of Summertime.

So, needless to say, I am so ready for Summer. Especially since Spring has been taking it’s sweet time – chilly weather in Florida in MAY? Unheard of!
