Country French Skillet Chicken

  I am so excited to share this easy & delicious skillet chicken with you guys today!  This was one of the easiest and best tasting recipes I have had in a while and you can bet it is back on our menu again next week!  I served it over buttered egg noodles with a side of roasted asparagus and there wasn’t a morsel left!



Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast pounded to an even thickness
  • Lawry's Seasoning Salt to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package KNORR Recipe Classics Vegetable Soup Dip & Recipe Mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp dried dillweed

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle chicken on both sides with lawry’s and garlic powder. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and brown on both sides for about 5 minutes. Stir in water, soup mix and dill weed. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer and cover stirring occasionally until chicken is done. Remove chicken to a platter to keep warm, then stir in the sour cream. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve with buttered noodles, rice or over mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
