PEPPERMINT BARK
Don’t you just love super easy recipes? This chocolate peppermint bark is so simple, you can hardly call it a recipe.
I’ve made this peppermint bark treat at Christmas time, but it also makes a wonderful treat for Valentines Day as well!! It’s SO simple to make it’s always a huge hit with family and friends.
HOW TO MAKE PEPPERMINT BARK
You basically chop and melt semi-sweet chocolate, spread it in a pan and chill.
Then chop and melt white chocolate, mix in some candy canes and spread over the chilled semi-sweet chocolate and you’re done!
The secret here is to use good quality chocolates, like Lindt, Ghirardelli, Guittard or Bakers.

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound of white chocolate, chopped
- 1 pound of bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 box of peppermint candy canes (11-12oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
DIRECTIONS:
- Break up peppermint candy canes in a plastic bag, setting aside 1/4 of the pieces.
- Melt the bittersweet chocolate until all pieces are smooth, then add in 1/4 tsp. of peppermint extract.
- Pour onto a cookie sheet pan that has been lined with wax paper and spread evenly. Chill approximately one hour.
