- 225 g plain flour
- 3 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 sachet powdered vanilla sugar (7g) more to sprinkle
- 1/2 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- zest of one lemon
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup oil (for frying)
- Metric - US Customary
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, lemon and cinnamon and mix them well.
- Beat the egg lightly, and add it to the bowl together with the milk.
- Use a silicone spatula to mix everything together, you should have a smooth batter than is thicker than the pancakes one.
- Heat up the oil in a deep frying pan.
