Chewy & Fudgy Almond Flour Matcha Brownie Cake

Brownies are amazingly delicious - they are chewy, flaky, buttery, and rich with the aromatic taste of chocolate. But have you ever tried the Matcha brownie?

Matcha is the new chocolate. It can be incorporated into a number of recipes in the same way that cacao powder would, from Matcha hot chocolate, Matcha fudge, and Matcha ice cream. Both are overflowing in health-promoting antioxidants and amazing plant-based polyphenols!



Honoring the delicious taste of brownies, I wanted to make some Matcha brownies! Using high-quality Matcha, these brownies are packed with anti-inflammatory antioxidants - so not only are they delicious, they’re healthy for us too!

Ingredients:

  • Almond Flour... 1/2 cup
  • All Purpose Gluten Free Flour... 1/3 cup
  • Baking Powder... 1 tsp
  • Salt... a dash
  • MariMatcha Matcha powder... 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar... 1/2 cup
  • White sugar... 1/2 cup
  • Eggs... 3 each
  • Melted butter... 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla... a dash

Toppings:

  • More Matcha... for an added antioxidant boost!!

Directions:

  • In bowl, mix together the almond flour, all purpose flour, baking soda, salt and MariMatcha Matcha powder.
