HOW TO MAKE ICED COFFEE WITH KEURIG

The secret to a perfect Keurig iced coffee is easier than you think.

To make this iced coffee, you start by brewing one dark roasted k-cup at 4 ounce cup setting. Next, you pour the coffee slowly over the ice cubes, add milk, sugar, some vanilla syrup or caramel sauce and that’s it! This iced coffee couldn’t be simpler.

With this recipe, you can save your cash and enjoy a delicious iced coffee at home. This is also a great recipe if you hate iced coffees with too much ice (of course you do)! Here’s how to do it:

Changing things up – play around with the recipe after you make it the first time. You can stir in caramel or chocolate sauce or use sweetened condensed milk to make the Vietnamese iced coffee with a k-cup.

Enjoy!

UPDATE: Q&A
Lana asked is there any Keurig that makes iced coffee? Yes, Keurig just released a new K-Elite which has a dedicated button for iced coffee. It makes hot coffee in small, concentrated amounts right over ice. It’s not much different than doing the task with 4 oz cup setting though.

Sophia asked how she can make Keurig cold brew? If you want to make cold brew coffee concentrate, Keurig machine is pretty much – useless. Different from instant Keurig brewing, cold brew takes time. You also need a significant amount of ground coffee and cold water to start with. But I do have a cold brew tutorial for you.

KEURIG ICED COFFEE RECIPE
Ingredients:

  • 1 regular k-cup of your choice (preferably dark roast)
  • 4 large ice cubes
  • 4 ounces cold milk or half and half

Directions:

1. Brew one dark roasted k-cup at 4-ounce cup setting. Keurig 2.0 or Platinum users will have this option, but if you don’t you can use 6 ounce cup size.
2. Place 4 large ice cubes in a tall glass and pour the coffee over the ice cubes. Be sure you pour it slowly, it’s the best part.
3. Add 4 oz cold milk / or half and half, stir well, taste, and if needed, add sugar to sweeten. I tend to skip the sugar but if you like your coffee sweet, you can certainly add 1 or 2 teaspoons.
