HERSHEY’S CREAM CHEESE BROWNIES

From-scratch brownies can be totally intimidating, am I right? But what if I told you they were actually super easy to make, and turned out a delicious dessert you could finish in one sitting?

These cream cheese brownies are just that! Don’t let the from-scratch brownie part scare you – just think of how impressive you’ll sound to your friends. 😉


I always stock up on Hershey’s Candy Bars in the summer because you never know when you might need them for S’mores. I came across these brownies from Doughmestic.com and was so excited to try them. With my surplus of Hershey’s Candy Bars, I figured I better put them to good use.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ounces Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 10 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Hershey's Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • For the Cream Cheese Swirl
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 5 (1.55 ounce) chocolate Hershey Bars for the top

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9x9 baking pan with cooking spray
  2. In the microwave, melt chocolate and butter until smooth. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and vanilla with the sugar. Slowly add in chocolate mixture until well combined.
