VEGGIE PIZZA DIP

You know that whole thing about being sad that your kids are getting older, and not having a baby anymore, and saying goodbye to all those exciting “firsts”? Well, I’m kinda there. I can’t help but think it has something to do with Myla turning two….and Nora starting Kindergarten….and Ellia getting ready for her last year of grade school. My kids are getting older (sob)!!! And I’m not really okay with it.

Not that I have a choice, right? Life keeps happening, whether we want it to or not. So every now and then, when I’m feeling up to it, I try to look on the bright side. And every now and then, I find that the bright side looks pretty good!



Case in point: Myla’s birthday cake. I realized the morning of her birthday that we didn’t have a cake for her….so I started pulling out bowls and spoons and ingredients. And before I knew it, the three older girls were ALL helping me! And for one of the first times I can remember, they were actually helpful.

Ingredients

  • 1 container Marzetti Veggie Dip I used Ranch
  • 2 Tbsp. broccoli chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. cauliflower chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. tomatoes chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. yellow pepper chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. carrots chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. finely shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Spread Marzetti Veggie Dip onto a shallow platter.
  2. Top with chopped veggies and shredded cheese.
