PERFECT FRIED PORK CHOPS

PORK CHOP COOKING TIPS:
Just be sure to keep your eye on the steak, if they are thin steaks, they won’t take as long to cook. If they are thick, they will take a little bit longer!
If the pork chops are 1 inch thick, cook them for 2-3 minutes on one side and then 1-2 minutes on the other side.
If the pork chops are thinner than 1 inch cook them for 2 minutes on one side and 1-2 minutes on the other side.
You will know when they are done cooking on when they are golden brown and no pink juices remain.
When adding your butter, I really like using salted butter in this recipe! It just goes perfectly with the pork!

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 bone-in pork chops
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rinse pork chops and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients.
  3. Dip each side of the pork chops dry ingredient mixture, then set aside on a plate.
  4. Heat canola oil over medium-high heat and once it is hot add your butter.
  5. When the butter is melted cook pork chops 2 to 3 minutes on the first side; 1 to 2 minutes on the other side. Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining porch chops.
