Slow Cooker Cheesy Potato Casserole

This recipe is so simple. All you need to do is place all ingredients except for 1 cup of cheese into your slow cooker and mix together well then place the lid on. Cook on low for 4 hours. Top with remaining cheese and place the lid back on then allow to cook for 20 more minutes.

Yes that is not a typo. I know it may not seem like a lot but for this recipe a little goes a long way. I have tried the recipe without onions at all and it really changes the taste.



Ingredients

  • 32 oz Frozen Southern Style Hash Brown Potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Frozen Minced Onions
  • 2 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (melted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (divided)

Instructions
