PATRIOTIC SMORES BROWNIES

Everyone loves S’mores, and who doesn’t love brownies? Make a big batch of these smores brownies as they will gone before you know it! Decorated with patriotic M&Ms, these are perfect for any celebration, especially the 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Flag Day. They would also be amazing for a homecoming party for someone who has served in the military. God Bless the USA!

Brownie Ingredients:

• 1/2 C vegetable oil
• 1 C sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 eggs, room temp
• 1 1/2 C flour
• 1/3 C cocoa powder
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• Pam spray

Brownie Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Pretreat bakers pan with Pam spray.  (9X9 pan)
2. Sift dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt).
3. Add vegetable oil, sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl…. beat in eggs… stir until well blended.
4. Slowly add all the dry ingredients at 1/2 C at a time to the wet ingredients…. stir after each addition.
5. Check to make sure all ingredients are well mixed.
6. Pour the brownie batter into the bakers pan…. bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
